My Focus- Startups and Founder journey
My most recent career pivot has the most nerve-wreaking as well- taking the leap of faith into entrepreneurship. Not having the luxury of a cushy job despite a mortgage, child, and immigration was not easy, but here we are and I'm loving every minute of it. Here I'll share my journey navigating the startup ecosystem as a female founder of color.
My Passion- Interior Design
I've renovated homes across states- projects of all shapes and sizes- from a total teardown to repurposing layouts and everything in between. I also enjoy DIY and antiques quite a lot and will share more on those topics here and on my design website Mouridesigns.com
My loves - Art, Fashion, Mentoring
I am an Artist- I've displayed my artwork in galleries and worked commissioned pieces. I also design my own clothing and love styling and playing with color. I also love mentoring - I've had a good career and pivots along the way - From Software Engineer to Product Management, to Strategist, Business Leader and now a Founder. I love talking about job interviews, career planning, schools, tests etc.
